Department of Education and Training

SHG developed a best practice toolkit of resources to raise awareness amongst teachers, students, parents and carers on the dangers of grooming and child sexual exploitation.  (http://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/programs/health/protect/Pages/exploitationgrooming.aspx)

Catholic Education Melbourne

SHG worked with a key division over a sustained period to re-imagine their strategic approach and develop new approaches that encouraged innovation and enhanced impact and outcomes for students.

Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Education and Training

SHG undertook a review of the Education and Health Needs Assessment Program to improve health and education outcomes for vulnerable children and young people in Out-of-home care.

Northern Territory Education Facility

SHG undertook a child safety review of a remote indigenous boarding school to assist the school to promote a deeper understanding of child safety within their school community and develop new approaches to minimise risk.

Catholic School Parents Australia

SHG delivered their renowned ‘Thinking Strategy’ session to the Catholic School Parents Victoria and guided them through the development of a practicable and achievable organisational strategy that allowed the organisation to respond to a changed sector landscape and diverse stakeholder needs.

Victorian Regulation and Qualifications Authority

SHG supported the VRQA to build sector awareness of the new Child Safe Standards by facilitating a sector wide forum to discuss the key issues and inform future implementation approaches.

Department of Education and Training

SHG worked with the project team to develop best practice operational guidance for the implementation of the Victorian Doctors in Secondary Schools Program.

Victorian Catholic Schools Parent Body 

SHG has guided the VCSPB over a number of years through the development of a practicable and achievable organisational strategy that allowed them to enhance their influence and impact on key sector issues.

Department of Justice, Department of Education and Training 

SHG supported the Departments to develop a best practice education model for Parkville College, located at the Parkville Juvenile Justice facility. SHG later developed a Vocational Education and Training Blueprint for the College and undertook a desktop evaluation of the Parkville College funding and operational model and provided recommendations on strategies for continuous improvement.

Catholic Education Melbourne

SHG conducted a research project for CEM to explore the rationale for expanding early childhood education provision in the Catholic sector.

Department of Education and Training

Over a number of years, SHG has developed persuasive narratives and robust policy arguments to support the development of funding submissions for a range of departmental policy and project priorities relating to student health and wellbeing, and vulnerable children and young people.

Department of Education and Training

SHG undertook an evaluation of the devolution of management of Student Support Services to School Networks and provided key project management and implementation supports including facilitating a range of industry wide workshops and forums.
