Avril Salter

 

Prior to joining the Salter Hill Group, Avril was the Principal of Whittlesea Secondary College for 13 years. Avril established the College as a leader in Vocational Education and Training (VET), culminating in the College being awarded the Victorian VET in Schools Award in 2003 and 2007.

Avril was selected as a member of the National Youth Careers and Transition Group chaired by then Education Minister, Brendan Nelson. Avril has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences, written articles for state and national publication and become an internationally recognised advocate for post compulsory education.
